The latest Sword Art Online movie, Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale, is set to open at cinemas across Japan from Feb. 18, 2017. As part of a promotional campaign, advance tickets for the movie will come in a special design inspired by Kirito’s sword, so fans can set foot in the cinema feeling just like the legendary hero and leaving the regular world behind. Of course, the actual ticket portion is attached to the bottom so you don’t have to give up your sword to gain access to the movie. It’s a ticketing revolution! For the first time ever fans can enjoy the movie whilst clutching their swords.
