Popular Jump Square manga Blue Exorcist / Ao no Exorcist will return to the stage this August with the adaptation of the Kyoto Crimson Arc.
Blue Exorcist first aired as an anime from April to October 2011, followed by an animated feature in December 2012. A first stage adaptation ran in 2014. This new production will run from August 5 to 14 at the Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi in Tokyo. The story this time will focus on the "Unclean King" arc from Volume 5 to 9 of the original manga. Rising theater star Kitamura Ryo will play protagonist Okumura Rin whil Miyazaki Shuto will play his twin Okumura Yukio.
