This figure is pretty great for the price. It's bigger than I expected, lining up with around a 1:7 scale. The paint job is actually really nice for this price point. The trim parts are painted pretty cleanly and don't bleed much, there's some actual gradient work, and the paint is pretty smooth even on the sharp edges of the hair. I'm taking off a star because there are shiny spots all over the figure. I assume this is glue because it's concentrated around the seam lines. It's just all over the place though. Half of the neck and all along the pants seams and hair seams and basically anywhere there's a seam, it's just covered in these shiny splotches. It's so frustrating because this figure could compete with a lot of full price scale figures if it wasn't for the sloppy gluing.
Oh yeah, and you can display it without the circle base, which is nice. |
