Luna Haruna was born on Oct. 11, 1991. Her sudden rise to fame commenced when she won through to the Tokyo finals of the fourth Anison Grand Prix with her Gundam SEED cosplay. Her major debut occurred on May 2, 2012 with the song “Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau” (Fate/Zero 2nd season ending theme) with lyrics and composition managed by Yuki Kajiura. Thereafter, she released a succession of big hits including “Overfly,” “Ai o Utae,” and “snowdrop.” In August 2013, her first album “OVERSKY” released. A year later in August 2014, she released “Startear,” which is the ending theme to the TV anime “Sword Art Online II.” She is also currently a KERA model. She performs at numerous overseas anime events, including Seattle’s (US) Sakura-Con, Bonn’s (Germany) AnimagiC, and Indonesia’s AFA as the esteem held for her continues to blossom globally.
