About Me

Cuel

Illustrator / Malaysia

I started picking up drawing as a hobby in my final year of high school, where I taught myself Photoshop and essentially picked up any books on drawing. I was fascinated with manga style and would constantly draw CG illustrations for a hobby during whatever time I had. As such, I am more inclined to draw digitally than traditionally. I enjoy exploring new techniques, and the process of completing an illustration is truly satisfying.

I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Monash University and graduated in 2007, immediately thereafter pursuing art studies at The One Academy and obtaining a diploma in Illustrations in 2011. I worked as a lecturer & tutor specializing in visual illustrations for my college up till late 2012.

Currently, I am working as a freelance illustrator. My career and experience as a professional artist is still relatively fresh, but I truly hope that I am able to keep improving as an artist and also as a person. It is my wish to be able to contribute to the gaming industry in the future, whether as a designer or in the programming aspect.
