Cosplay/Photography - Japan
I mainly cosplay as my favorite characters from Vocaloid, *Puella Magi Madoka Magica*, and *Bakemonogatari*.

  • GUMI - Vocaloid

To have the feeling of being an android come across, I was very careful to choose the right material for the outfit. The material I used is very hard and isn’t intended to be used for clothes. The colored items used, such as the goggles, refer to cyber fashion. I bought the goggles from a cyber fashion brand and remade them for this cosplay. I made the headphones and belt buckle from scratch.

  • Kagamine Len - Vocaloid

Due to Len’s hairstyle being so unique, I remade the outfit over and over again with the goal of getting it perfect. While I used enamel and faux leather, I was careful not to make it too shiny.

  • Araragi Karen - Bakemonogatari

I aimed to capture a lively pose that was indicative of the character. Creating her characteristic spike of hair and her peculiar side ponytail was difficult. I especially like her fried egg hair ornament and her charm.

  • Sakura Kyoko - Puella Magi Madoka Magica

In order to clearly portray her body lines, I made the upper part of the outfit tight. Finding the right material for the frill was difficult. I purchased many materials and made it over and over again. I also put a lot of effort into making sure the volume of her hair and ponytail were perfect. I bought the lance from a molder. It’s really cool! I’m so proud of it! I’m always worried about the location because I want to capture the uniqueness of the work’s world.

  • Kagamine Len (Haru Machi Cho) - Vocaloid

My goal was to make the ears and tail look real, and I chose a material to simulate natural fur. I dyed the scarf to give it the yellow and orange gradation. I used makeup to re-create Len’s eyebrows and strong cheeks from the video’s illustration. I went to shoot at a location that had snow; it was cold!

About Me

Cosplay/Photography / Japan

I made my cosplay debut when I went with my friend and participated in a cosplay event.
I photograph my cosplay in studios and outdoors, wherever I can find a good location that fits the work.
I don’t just do cosplay; I also concentrate every day on taking photos. Aside from being the photographic subject, I also do things like photography and retouching.

    About My Cosplay

I focus primarily on characters from Vocaloid, *Puella Magi Madoka Magica*, and *Bakemonogatari*. My Vocaloid cosplay focuses on versions of Kagamine Len, MEIKO, and GUMI from my favorite songs.
I am a big fan of the anime production company Shaft, and I watch their anime exclusively. The list of works and characters I like is long, so I always cosplay as the same characters.

    About My Outfits and Props

Some items I buy and some I make. When I make an item, I fuss over the particulars.
I dislike making clothes, but I enjoy making props and wigs.

    About My Camera and Photography

I am also into photography and retouching. The camera I use is a Nikon D90. I also occasionally use a Sony NEX5n.
I photograph many things from relaxed snap portraits to cosplay and also animals and plants.
