JAM Project's new song "Kaze~Tabitachi no Uta~" has been chosen as the theme song to the latest Garo movie, "GARO: Demon Dragon of the Blue Cries”.

GARO was a late night drama that debuted in 2005. Since its debut, it has been widely acclaimed for its use of action and visual effects. Several films and spin-offs have been released since the show ended, with the latest edition being “GARO: Demon Dragon of the Blue Cries”, which will be released in February 2013.

JAM Project is a group that specializes in music for videogames and anime. The group is known for their insightful and meaningful music compositions. In the summer of 2012, they teamed up with Animetal USA for a limited national concert in Japan. They are currently scheduling a world tour. For their new song, the leader of JAM Project, Hironobu Kageyama, was in charge of the lyrics and composition. Kageyama was also the voice of the character Zaruba in the show. Recently, he talked about the project and his affection for GARO:

JAM Project has been very fortunate to be able to work with GARO. We have heeded the director's advice and are singing with gratitude to everyone who has been a part of GARO up until now. I was worried about getting the feeling just right, so I went back and rewatched the series from the beginning. As a member of JAM Project, as well as the voice actor for Zaruba, I really loved working on this project. At the end of it, I just want to thank all of the cast members and staff, and especially the fans. Thank you for being with us on this long journey. For everyone facing a new journey in their lives, we wanted to send you a song full of warm affection to see you off. Amidst the winds, together with time, let's go on our next journey in life against all odds. This song is a 'lullaby' with a tinge of sadness as GARO opens up to a whole new world.

We are excited to see how this project turns out!
