The main character of Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life is an adorable yet devious creature. Originally, art director Yoshiki Usa wrote a web column about the character that later illustrator Tomoko Fujinoki turned into a webcomic. On September 10, 2012, a special full-color book was released, and in October of the same year the anime adaptation began broadcasting on TV Tokyo and Nico Nico Douga.

The DVD features all 12 original televised episodes, plus an additional 15 minutes of extra content for a total running time of 48 minutes. For collectable hobbyists, Good Smile Company is including a special medium-sized (~15CM tall) plushie of Wooser as part of the purchase! This package deal is planned to sell for 2,900 yen ($35).

A limited edition BD is also planned for release and will sell for 6,090 yen ($75). The limited edition BD set will be available through Bandai Visual Club, Good Smile Company’s online shop, and Nico Nico Chokuhan. The limited edition includes a Wooser earphone jack, 13 postcards, a protective sleeve specially created by Poyoyon Rock, and an original soundtrack CD. The regular edition will include an 8-page booklet and audio commentaries for all episodes and is planned to sell at 3,990 yen ($49). The BD pre-order deadline is January 16, 2013. Don’t miss out!

Before the DVD and BD release, the always cool and adorable Wooser can still be right at hand with the exclusive iPhone 5 case planned to release next month. Wooser fans, don’t miss out on this great item!
