Following its first poster visual, Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry has revealed more information on its official site! Updates included story details as well as information about the staff and cast, but first you have to check out the teaser that got released!
Fairy Tail has been published in Weekly Shonen Jump for ten years, and this movie is now being described as the “start of the climax”. With 277 anime episodes and more than 60 million copies of the manga printed worldwide, the idea of this epic series making another step towards its end is a brutal one, but wow does it seem like this will be a great movie!
According to the site, the film will be centered around a magical wand called Dragon Cry. The Fairy Tail guild sets out to capture it on behalf of the Kingdom of Fiore after it’s stolen by Zash and given to Animus off the Stella Kingdom. Dragon Cry is said to be powerful enough to destroy the world, but will Natsu be able to awaken his instincts and save everyone?
