An Easter event is going to be held for the first time at Sanrio Puroland called Puro Easter from March 18 through June 27! A number of plans are being set up like an Easter Celebration Parade featuring characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Gudetama, as well as photo spots with colorful eggs and a gorgeous food menu based on Sanrio’s most-beloved characters!
Seven characters will appear in the participation-style Easter Celebration Parade including My Melody and Gudetama in honor of Easter’s main symbols: bunnies and eggs! This parade will give visitors a chance to sing and dance alongside their favorite characters while looking for Easter eggs, and you’ll get extra pumped if you’re searching with your very own Gudetama Light Balloon that will be on sale. Use it with your colorful Miracle♡Light for an even more fun Easter atmosphere.
There will also be a photo spot on the Puroland first floor Puro Village where you can take a picture surrounded by colorful eggs and characters, and another photo spot where you can hop into a basket full of eggs! There will also be different goods based on the bunny character Wish Me Mell hidden around Puroland. Easter is known as a time for egg hunting, but in Puroland, you’ll get to go Mell hunting while enjoying the decorations of Puroland.
There will also be an Easter-limited food menu which will include Easter egg-inspired food, as well as straws and cups with face designs on them that can be held up to your face to take pictures with to turn into one of your favorite characters.
Puroland-exclusive goods featuring the characters as eggs also went on sale on Feb. 21. Wish Me Mell goods will also be available on March 18. Eight different items will be available including bunny ear headbands based on Mell’s ears and eight mascots in pastel-colored costumes, and they’re all perfect for celebrating Easter.
You can also get a discounted ticket by coming in an Easter outfit that includes bunny ears and a white outfit to capture the look of a rabbit. Come in your Easter outfit to enjoy Puro Easter and welcome spring in Puroland alongside all of the cute characters!
