WebTechnology has been supporting the game development scene for 15 years through the release of programs for Nintendo consoles, such as the OPTPiX iMageStudio for Game Boy Advance in 2002 or the animation tool SpriteStudio for Nintendo DS in 2005, and will keep supporting the new experience Nintendo Switch brings as a partner.

■ About the OPTPiX Imesta Series
Previously known as OPTPix iMageStudio, the OPTPiX Imesta series has been used in the gaming industry as an image optimization and processing tool for years.

It can be used for common image formats, textures for smartphone applications, as well as image formats used in games, and its function to decrease file size while maintaining quality has greatly contributed to higher processing speed through the decrease of game file sizes and memory usage.

OPTPiX iMageStudio and OPTPiX Imesta programs have been released for a variety of Nintendo gaming consoles including the Game Boy Advance, GameCube, DS, 3D, as well as Wii and Wii U with dedicated functions tailored to the console and are widely used in game development.
