The latest addition to the Star Wars franchise, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, hits cinemas on Dec. 16, and what better way to celebrate than with another incredible figure from Kotobukiya? A stunning 1/7 scale figure of a Death Trooper, elite specialists working for the Empire's Imperial Intelligence, will be released in Kotobukiya’s ArtFX line in May 2017.
Death Troopers act as bodyguards and surveillance for Orson Krennic, the Director of the Advanced Weapons Research division of the Imperial Military. These elite soldiers wear special Stormtrooper armor that's black with a sinister sheen, and this figure captures every aspect of this Death Trooper's appearance perfectly right down to the tiniest of details.
The lower part of the helmet features LEDs so it glows green, just like the real thing. The base is inspired by the sandy landscape of Scarif, complete with an incredibly realistic wet sand effect at the edge. Once this figure is proudly on display in your home, you'll feel just like you've been transported to an epic battle on a Scarif beach! It even comes with a bonus Stormtrooper doll, which can be placed in the figure's left hand.
