Come January 2017, you could be dining in style with chopsticks inspired by the samurai swords of Ii Naotora!
For those who aren’t brushed up on their history, Ii Naotora was a female daimyo of the Sengoku period. She also happens to be the main character of NHK’s 2017 Taiga Drama series, which is their annual historical TV drama that’s had a new focus every year since 1963!
Luckily for fans, Kotobukiya is aligning this release to coincide with the new drama, which is titled Onna Joshu Naotora and begins broadcasting in January 2017!
The chopsticks themselves appear graceful with their feminine yet powerful design, especially with the pure white color scheme broken up by gold and scarlet highlights. The chopsticks also come with a gorgeous stand that’s colored pitch black with the gold family crest of Ii Naotora’s clan.
