Gunpla x Iron-Blooded Orphans Exhibition to Open Oct. 26!

The Gunpla x Iron-Blooded Orphans Exhibition is set to take place at Ikebukuro Parco from Oct. 26 to Nov. 7, 2016 at which the world of the hit anime will be recreated in Gunpla form.

Exhibition Details
The second season of the massively popular TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans hit the airwaves in October 2016. To celebrate the beginning of the TV broadcast, a special exhibition will be held on the seventh floor of the Parco department store in Ikebukuro from Oct. 26 to Nov. 7 in which the world of the anime will be recreated in Gunpla form.

Beginning with the series’ signature Gundam, Barbatos Lupus, Gunpla kits of the various Mobile Suits from the first season will be on show in the Gunpla x Mobile Suits archive, and there will also be a diorama featuring the battles between the Tekkadan and Gjallarhorn, plus an impressive 1/0th scale statue of Gundam Barbados, and a photo spots where fans can take photos with members of the Tekkadan. It’s an exhibition that even Gunpla novices will be able to enjoy.

Next to the exhibition area there will also be a special store set up where you can buy limited edition Gundam Barbados event Gunpla and related merchandise. As a special bonus, visitors to the exhibition will also receive stickers featuring SD illustrations of the show’s protagonists, Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka.

Main Exhibition Highlights
- Recreating the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans world through Gunpla is at the heart of the exhibition and fans will be able to get a look at the various Mobile Suits in the Gunpla x Mobile Suits archive as well as in the Gunpla x Tekkadan diorama.
- The Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Reproduction Artwork Exhibition will also offer an opportunity to see reproductions of some of the artwork that went into creating the first and second seasons of the anime. This is the first time artwork from the second season will be on display providing a chance to look back at some of those high-impact scenes in their rawest form.
- There will also be a selection of event-exclusive Gunpla merchandise on offer. Highlights include an “HG 1/144 Gundam Barbatos Dai Roku Keitai Iron Blood Coating Ver.” Gunpla which is making its first appearance at this event.
- Visitors to the exhibit will be given limited edition stickers featuring the official SD illustrations of Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka as a special bonus, with each type available for a limited time only.
