Namco Co., Ltd. will be opening the Days Chara Pop Store beginning on Oct. 14 to commemorative the second season of the high school soccer anime Days. The shop will begin its tour in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro before moving on to Nagoya in December, Kyoto in February, and Sapporo in March. This will be the first Days Chara Pop Store, and the event is expected to last a total of 6 months.
The store free to enter, and it will offer Chara Pop Store-exclusive items featuring chibi illustrations of the characters on a variety of original products through a minigame and sales area. Also, for every receipt with purchases exceeding 2,000 yen, customers will receive an original die-cut postcard as a present. In addition to selling products, there will also be a photo spot area with chibi illustrations of the characters, giving fans an opportunity to take a picture with their favorite character.
■ About the Chara Pop Store
Set up to celebrate the second season of the TV anime Days, the collaborative Days Chara Pop Store will be visiting four cities including Tokyo’s Ikebukuro, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Sapporo. Designed to make customers feel like they’re going to see the members practicing to cheer them on, the shop interior features flags with specially drawn illustrations, as well as other decorations to capture the series.
There will also be a sales area where you can purchase items meant for cheering on the team including a rubber wristband and muffler towel, as well as a garapon minigame in which everyone who plays is guaranteed a prize based on the color of ball they get. This store will only be open for a limited time but will be a great way to experience this series’ world.
About the Limited Edition Specially Drawn Illustrations
The specially drawn illustrations feature the eight members of the Seiseki High School soccer team, as well as two members of their rival team from Sakuragi High School. They’re captured preparing before practice and appear on products and at the photo spot area. These include Tsukushi Tsukamoto running, Jin Kazama going at his own pace, and Hisahito Mizuki in a strange pose with his arms stretched horizontally, each capturing their unique personality.

There will be 7 kinds of items available with 36 of each to choose from featuring these original illustrations including an acrylic charm collection (10 available, chosen at random) which can be attached to anything, a notebook-style smartphone case featuring Seiseki and Sakuragi designs which can be used with any phone, as well as a muffler towel for cheering. You won’t be able to find these anywhere else.

■ Play the “Run! Wear Yourself Out! Win (Goods) Without Touching the Ball in Garapon!” Minigame
Turn the giant garapon and win a prize based on the color of whatever ball is dropped in this minigame you can’t lose. There are four types of prizes including a soccer ball cushion and rubber wristband featuring the names and an illustrations of each character, and there are 33 items up for grabs. Cost: 450 yen per turn (tax included)
