Shopping Guide
On Sept. 26, Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. began to release a special anime! It uses the talents of 10 voice actresses and music to teach how eyes work and the importance of good eyecare, and will be released online through the Santen Pharmaceutical Eyedrops website and YouTube channel.
The active ingredients behind their eyedrops have been turned into characters on the planet Eye which they try to protect. The anime explains the structure of the eye, the importance of taking good care of your eyes, and also how these ingredients work together. There will be a prologue and four episodes, with the prologue and first episode already released. The theme song “Me ga Mega Sukasshon” features musician DECO*27 and the voice actors.
Eyes are forced to deal with a lot of stress from everyday things like computers and smartphones, as well as unusual schedules. Despite this, many people don’t take care of their eyes, and this anime is dedicated to sharing knowledge to help everyone do what they can to prevent damage.
