From Sept. 1, Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd plans to launch the “Osomatsu-san x Sante PC Sante Eye!” campaign, a collaborative project between the company’s over the counter eye drops, Sante PC, and the hugely popular anime Osomatsu-san.
These days when everyone is so absorbed by their digital equipment from PCs to smartphones, the danger of eye damage is only becoming more widespread. The Osomatsu-san collaboration hopes to raise awareness among younger people and anime fans who are heavy users of PCs and smartphones about the dangers of eye conditions related to blue light exposure as well as the necessity of general eye care.

The dedicated website for the Osomatsu-san campaign was launched on Aug. 26 at 11:00 am. The website features the Osomatsu guys introducing some of the Sante PC products as well other original elements and the full details about the campaign.

About Osomatsu-san
Osomatsu-san is a TV anime which was broadcast from October 2015 to March 2016 in celebration of Fujio Akatsuka’s 80th birthday. The previous TV anime, Osomatsu-kun, aired 27 years previously back in 1988, and this new version, Osomatsu-san, sees the guys all grown up. Fanbases for each of the sextuplets have also developed as the guys have their own clearly defined personalities and color schemes.
