Bandai’s official online store, Premium Bandai, began taking pre-orders at 11 am on Aug. 25 for a set of tin badges featuring the idols from the smartphone app IDOLiSH 7 which is celebrating the first anniversary of its launch. The “Usa Mimi Parka Hologram Tin Badge IDOLiSH 7 Ver.” set includes seven tin badges each featuring an illustration of the game’s characters wearing rabbit-eared hoodies and retails for 2,800 yen (tax included, shipping and handling extra).

The set, which comes in an original box, includes seven tin badges each around 5 centimeters in size featuring an illustration of the male idols form the smartphone app IDOLiSH 7 wearing rabbit-eared hoodies and has been launched in celebration of the first anniversary of the game’s release. The badges use the illustrations which were posted for the characters’ birthdays and have the shiny hologram finish which is popular in gashapon items. Each of the characters also has a bashful, smiling expression or hands raised like rabbit ears.
The full lineup includes: Iori Izumi, Yamato Nikaido, Mitsuki Izumi, Tamaki Yotsuba, Sogo Osaka, Nagi Rokuya, and Riku Nanase. One box contains all seven badges.

■ About IDOLiSH 7
IDOLiSH 7 is a smartphone gaming app distributed by Bandai Namco Online. The player takes the role of a manager working at their father’s entertainment agency who attempts to raise the group of seven male idols known as IDOLiSH 7 to the top of the industry through playing rhythm games.
The game was launched in August 2015 and became a big hit right away. Character design was handled by the creator of the well-known shoujo manga Phantom Thief Jeanne, Arina Tanemura, and IDOLiSH 7 also boasts full voice content with A-list actors and brand new songs. Since the game was released a year ago, the app has been downloaded 1 million times. IDOLiSH 7 also released a CD single, Natsu Shiyouze! on July 7, 2016 which hit no. 2 on the Oricon charts. With their first album also on the way, the franchise continues to expand even further beyond the original game.
