Through the support of its fans, Good Smile Company, Inc. celebrated 15 years since its establishment on May 1. Commemorating that achievement, it has open pre-orders of two 1/7 scale figures, “Sakura Kinomoto: Stars Bless You” and “Sakura Kinomoto Simple Ver.,” based on the titular protagonist of Cardcaptor Sakura, which celebrated its 20th anniversary since its serialization began.
“Sakura Kinomoto: Stars Bless You” was designed by Good Smile Company’s greatest sculptor, Takayuki Kawahara, who also worked on the “Saber Lily ~Distant Avalon~” figure. This stunning work could be considered the definitive Sakura Kinomoto figure.

Just as Good Smile Company celebrated its 15th anniversary this year, Cardcaptor Sakura celebrated its 20th. This figure is a part of a collaboration with that beloved shojo manga whose Clear Card arc began its serialization in the July issue of Nakayoshi.
It faithfully brings to life a specially drawn illustration by the creators of the original work, CLAMP. Sakura’s cute face is wonderfully captured, as well as intricate details like the frills of her skirt. The pedestal, which features constellations and the waxing and waning of the moon, was also carefully designed using different-feeling materials to capture the charm of the original art. Fans are sure to enjoy the beautiful sculpting of this memorial item.
