Laguna Ten Bosch has teamed up with Sony Corporation for an incredible interactive experience that lets you become a member of the Ghostbusters at Lagunasia!
Set at Laguna Ten Bosch’s theme park, Lagunasia, the Ghostbusters Pico Proton Pack event will be open beginning July 16! It features technology from Sony Corporation, including space projection tech, for a super-interactive attraction!
The Ghostbusters Pico Proton Pack was set up for the summer to commemorate the release of Ghostbusters in Japan on Aug. 19. This is the first use of Sony Corporation’s new room projection technology, which turns you into a Ghostbuster equipped with a Pico Proton Pack! You’ll feel like you’re in the movie as you try your hand at capturing ghosts.
A special Ghostbuster Shop, the best place in Japan to get Ghostbusters-themed goods, will also be set up for the duration of this event. There will be a limited edition menu for the event, as well!

Ghostbusters Pico Proton Pack Special Ticket Details
The event ticket comes as a set bundled with a limited edition event card and ticket to enter Lagunasia, and will be sold nationwide in convenience stores beginning July 1 at 10:00 am. There will be a special image at the Mitene area which you won’t be able to see without the event card.

Attraction Outline
[Ghostbusters Pico Proton Pack]
Commemorating the release of the Ghostbusters film, there will be an awesome, super-interactive shooting attraction! Equipped with the Pico Proton Pack ray gun, you become a member of the Ghostbusters and try to capture ghosts! If you succeed in this awesome mission, you’ll receive a Master Member Certificate. Don’t worry if you don’t win, though, because you’ll still receive a Chief Member Certificate!
Cost: 600 yen (for ages 4 and older)

This will allow you to disguise yourself as a Ghostbuster using Digital Signage while experiencing the world of the movie, win a Member Certificate in Ghostbusters Pico Proton Pack, or enjoy the special event card which comes with convenience store tickets.

About the Ghostbusters Film
Thirty years ago, the city of New York was saved from ghosts by a group of scientists. That beloved work, Ghostbusters, has now been rebooted. New York’s ghost-exterminating group Ghostbusters is now made up of women. Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), who has a PhD in particle physics from Columbia University, was attempting to prove the existence of a psychic phenomenon for the first time in the world. Funding was cut by the university, however, and she was fired. She uses that knowledge and technology to start the Ghostbusters, a ghost extermination company.
