Japan is adding one more to its line of awesome theme parks: The perfect place for a whole day of outdoor fun, LEGOLAND® Japan is opening its gates on April 1, 2017!
LEGOLAND® is a chain of popular theme parks that target families with children between 2 and 12 years of age. Japan’s first LEGOLAND® resort will open in Nagoya, making the total count eight parks in seven different countries. It will be an outdoor kids’ theme park with more than 40 attractions which are sure to serve for a fun day.
Coordinated with the grand opening, yearly passports called “1st to Play” are available on LEGOLAND® Japan’s official homepage from May 19 in a limited amount. Of course, these passports come with special early bonuses, such as attending on the pre-opening day (scheduled for March 2017).

Privileges for passport holders include:
- Invitation to the preview days (March 18-21, 2017)
- Going to the park on any day of your choice for a year (with the exception of rest days and special business days/periods)
- Getting presented with a Special Member’s Card and limited edition LEGO® blocks
- Getting 10% off foods and drinks in all of LEGOLAND® Japan’s restaurants
- Getting invited to seasonal events exclusive to yearly passport holders
- A chance to get invited to VIP Program Experiences if chosen through lottery among the yearly passport holders (details will be announced later)
- Valid period starts from April 1, 2017 regardless of your first visit day
