The Tiger & Bunny anime is about to welcome its fifth anniversary since its first broadcast and the figure will take the form of the series protagonist, Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, in a relaxed state lying on his side.
“Palmate Extra Series Tiger & Bunny Kotetsu T. Kaburagi” (manufactured by Megahouse) was released on May 6, 2016 and retails for 6,048 yen (tax and shipping fees not included).
Let’s take a closer look:
The Palmate Extra version of Kotetsu T. Kaburagi is a little different than his usual look with the white vest and necktie. This time he’s in a relaxed, sleepy pose with the buttons on his green shirt slightly undone as if he’s taking a break after a hard day of being a top TV superhero. If you look at him from any angle you can see he’s smiling gently, and the figure also makes sure to properly recreate all the little details like his wristwatch, bracelet, and, of course, the wedding ring on his left hand.
You can let him rest in your palm or on your desk or pretty much anywhere you’d like to enjoy some more subdued superhero action from the exhausted Wild Tiger. Luckily, it won’t be too long before he’s joined by his partner Bunny as Barnaby Brooks Jr. is set to be the second figure released in the Palmate Extra series!
