Live action adaptations of popular anime and manga continue to be the trend in Japanese cinema this year with the upcoming productions for everything from suspense (e.g. Death Note) and fantasy (Full Metal Alchemist). The shoujo manga genre is no exception and award-winning manga turned anime Your Lie in April or Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is one of the next on the live-action movie list.
The production has just revealed the movie's key visual featuring lead Yamazaki Kento and Hirose Suzu as protagonists Arima Kousei and Miyazono Kaori.

The poster is intended to replicate the cover of the first volume of the original manga.
Both Yamazaki and Hirose are no stranger to anime and manga movie adaptations, especially in the shoujo manga genre. Hirose is currently starring as protagonist Ayase Chihaya in the two part movie version of manga Chihayafuru, meanwhile, Yamazaki has come to be known as the "Prince of Shoujo Manga Movies", having starred as the male lead in several including L-DK, Orange, Wolf Girl and Black Prince, Your Lie in April and in One Week Friends next year.
