“Anne Happy” Teaser Video Released; Cast to Gift Presents at Winter Comiket

A teaser visual for the spring 2016 TV anime Anne Happy (Unhappy Go Lucky) has been released. Along with that, a PV showcasing the charm of the original manga has also started streaming. It follows five young girls who, despite “unhappy” constitutions, remain positive. Furthermore, news has been released about an event to be held at Comic Market C89 at the end of this year. The voice actors, including the star actress, Yumiri Hanamori, will be giving away presents.

The Anne Happy teaser visual features the protagonist, An Hanakoizumi (Hanako), in the center surrounded of the group of five main characters. It’s a cute image with her smiling warmly while holding a “terrible luck” fortune. The PV, using illustrations from the original work, introduces the characters and their abundant personalities. The story is set in Tennomifune Academy’s Class 1-7, where students burdened with unhappiness have been gathered. You can see characters with different kinds of unhappiness including unluckiness, disappointment in love, and simply being lost.

Also, from Dec. 29–31, there will be a gathering at Comic Market C89 at Tokyo Big Sight where the voice actresses will be giving away presents. Firstly, on the 30th, Miyuri Hanamori, playing Hanako, will be giving away the teaser visual as a B2 poster, which won’t be sold. On the 31st, Hanamori, Hibari’s voice actress, Haruka Shiraishi, and Botan’s voice actress, Kiyono Yasuno, will each be personally delivering New Year’s cards. These will happen at the Anne Happy booth and be for customers spending 1,000 yen or more on related products. It’s planned to begin at 10 a.m. each day, and the first 100 customers will receive numbered participation tickets. At the booth, the lineup leads with goods for sale including sets featuring tapestries and charms, as well as 15 kinds of metal badges, large acrylic stands, and blankets.
