At last, Osomatsu-san balances on the brim of a cup. The makers of the “Fuchico on the Cup” series, Kitan Club, have decided to sell Osomatsu-san as a part of the Putitto series. In preparation for the launch, illustrations have already been released.
Since launching “Fuchico on the Cup,” Kitan Club has continued to produce to items including collaborations with performers as well as an abundance of other variety goods. The Putitto series frequently becomes a hot topic, with collaborations including “Funassyi” and K-On!. Its releases as a series include over 3,000,000 units.
The Osomatsu-san Putitto series has a design featuring each of the six children stuck on the brim. They’re wearing the popular “Matsu Parka,” each with sweet coloring. Illustrated for the released images are the sextuplets including Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jushimatsu, and Todomatsu. Each of the six children are depicted in characteristic poses suiting them, like Ichimatsu with Esper Nyanko sitting on top of his head and Todomatsu holding onto his cellphone. Their parkas are obvious, but there are slight differences in each of their pants, as well, allowing you to catch a glimpse at the design of each character from the original work. “Putitto Osomatsu-san” is planned for release in spring 2016 through gachapons.
The TV anime for Osomatsu-san started broadcasting in October 2015. Made in commemoration of 80 years since the birth of Fujio Akatsuka, its story takes place after Osomatsu-kun, and is popular with women with a broad expansion of goods and events. Its theme song is also a hit, and this work is capturing everyone’s attention.
The collaboration between the popular series and Osomatsu-san is sure to be a hot topic. Look forward to more upcoming visuals.
