The Cosmic Heart Compact is the item main character Usagi Tsukino uses when transforming in the TV anime Sailor Moon S. Aimed at adults, Premium Bandai is releasing the “Proplica Cosmic Heart Compact.”
The compact is the sixth item in the Sailor Moon lineup by Proplica, a brand for adults that strives for authenticity. Using metallic plating and clear parts, the compact is a high quality reproduction of the compact’s molded design as seen in the anime. Along with newly recorded vocals by Sailor Moon’s voice actress, Kotono Mitsuishi, and sound effects from the transformation scene, the compact is also loaded with sounds that pay homage to the compact toy that was sold roughly 20 years ago. It also features an LED light-up effect for the Legendary Silver Crystal that becomes visible when you open it up.
The “Proplica Cosmic Heart Compact” costs 7,020 yen (tax included). Pre-orders are being taken now on Premium Bandai, and it will be released in May 2016.
