“ACTIVERAID” TV Broadcast Premieres in January 2016!!

The all-new original anime ACTIVERAID: Kido Kyoshushitsu Dai-Hakkei will premiere in January 2016.

The chief director of the anime is Goro Taniguchi, director of Code Geass and Gun Sword among others, and directing is Noriaki Akitaya of Castle Town Dandelion and Persona 3 the Movie #1 fame. Other members of the stellar production team have also been announced, including Shun Saeki as original character designer, Asako Nishida, character designer on Love Live!, as animation character designer, Naruhisa Arakawa of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and Kamen Rider Kuuga fame as scriptwriter, and Kotaro Nakagawa of Code Geass and Gun Sword fame is in charge of music.

Set in a futuristic Tokyo, the series’ highlights include incidents being solved using enhanced high-output exoskeletons called “Willware” and exhilarating police battle action. It’s shaping up to be a must see for fans of action anime!

Introduction:

In order to revive the area and combat the rise in crime, the defense department of the National Police Agency creates enhanced high-output exoskeletons called “Willware” and establishes the Eighth Unit of the Fifth Special Public Security Section's Third Mobile Assault Division at Kichijoji, nicknamed “The Eighth.” Bound by a variety of legal constraints, the (mostly) young team uses wisdom and courage to combat atrocious plots!
