Broadcast information has been revealed for the TV anime Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru. It will premiere on 11 networks including Tokyo MX on Oct. 7. An advance screening will also be held beforehand.
The anime will broadcast on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Saitama, Chiba TV, TVK, Hokkaido Broadcasting, Gifu Broadcasting, BS11, Mie TV Broadcasting, and TVQ Kyushu. It will air during late night at 12:30 a.m. The broadcast will premiere on Oct. 7.
The anime adaptation of Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru is based on a novel series of the same name by Shiori Ota. The series currently has seven volumes published and over 600,000 copies in print, and a manga adaptation is currently serialized in Young Ace. A PV and information on the cast have already been revealed, and now the broadcast schedule has finally been posted.
An advance screening of the anime will also be held on Sept. 26 at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku beginning from 7:30 p.m. Along with the screening, there will be plenty of content to fill two hours including live performances and stage appearances. The first episode and a digest version of episode 2 will be screened.
Shizuka Ito, voice of Sakurako Kujo, Junya Enoki, voice of Shotaro Tatewaki, and Ayaka Imamura, voice of Yuriko Kogami, will all make appearances at the event, and there will even be a live performance from the artist behind the opening theme, True. Tickets will go on sale online and at the ticket counter at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku Sept. 12. All seating is designated and tickets cost 3,500 yen each.
