A Gintama attraction will appear at J-World located inside Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City for a limited time only from July 24, 2015. “Gorist Busters,” as the attraction is called, was born out of the hugely popular Gintama franchise and, of course, will offer a special food menu and merchandise.
Gintama is a massively popular manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump and the third season of the anime adaptation, Ginatmaº, has been airing since April 2015. "Gorist Busters" is an attraction in which you can enjoy the Gintama universe first hand.
The story concerns exterminating the gorilla-like devil king who commands the monster army and all his monster troops in order to protect the peace. Those visiting the attraction will temporarily become Shinsengumi soldiers and exterminate all the monsters which appear within the time limit by using the “monster catching equipment.” When you participate in the attraction, you’ll receive the “Cursed Gravure Magazine” of which there are five types which will be distributed at random in tightly sealed bags.
Such a Gintama-like name and feeling, it’s enough to put a giant grin on your face if you’re a Gintama fan! The attraction will close on Nov. 1 and the participation fee is 600 yen per visit.
On top of that, there will also be food! To eat there's the "eat the super perfume pasta and electro dance the robot with the Kansai dialect speaking Ese" rice bowl, and to drink there’s the "Let’s drink honey!" drink, and also the "Nogusoel cold Chinese noodles have begun” plate. The very Gintama-esque toppings are also worthy of note.
Newly illustrated merchandise is also expected to go on sale including illustrated A4 clear files and acrylic keychains of the protagonist, of course, Gintoki Sakata, plus Hijikata and Okita, Katsura, Takasugi and Kamui. Brand new prizes are also expected to appear at the Okita Bazooka booth in J-World’s Gintama Area.
