The new Ultraman X series will begin as a part of the television program New Ultraman Retsuden from July 14, 2015. A photograph of Ultraman X wearing the Cyber Gomora Armor was recently released, and it was also revealed that the new special finishing move would be named the Zanadium Ray. The new move digitizes enemies and compresses them into human size, and is a lightray attack that has never been seen before in previous parts of the series.
New Ultraman Retsuden is a tokusatsu program that is currently being broadcast on all six channels of the TV Tokyo Network every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. Starting from July 14, the new series Ultraman X will be featured as part of the program. In Ultraman X, the Special Defense Team Xio creates cyber monsters, and by analyzing the data of their monsters, the team members become capable of utilizing the power of cyber monsters to strengthen themselves.
The new image released from the first episode of the series shows Ultraman X in Cyber Gomora Armor with claw-like apparatuses on each hand, showing off a more powerful look than before. The only way to find out what the armor can do is to wait until the series begins!
In addition to the new armor, Ultraman X also has a new Zanadium Ray attack that is released when he forms an “X” figure in front of his chest with his arms. Rather than defeating the enemy with the ray, however, Ultraman compresses the foe into human size.
Another photo shows that Demaga the melted metal monster will serve as the first test for Ultraman X. Just how our 41st Ultra Hero will handle Demaga and other enemies is definitely something to keep an eye out for!
