Jump Shop Odaiba 2015, a pop-up theme store based on Weekly Shonen Jump’s popular characters, is to open for a limited time. The store will be open from July 18 to Aug. 31 in the Aqua Arena, Aqua City, Odaiba where it’s expected that popular character merchandise will be on show.
Jump Shop is a specialist store focussing on merchandise related to characters from Weekly Shonen Jump. The merchandise has proved popular at the Tokyo Station store, Yokohama store, the Nagoya store, the Umeda store in Osaka and the Fukuoka store among many others stretching right across the country and winning praise from many fans in the process.
Now, it’s been announced that the Jump Shop Odaiba 2015 pop-up shop is to open for a limited time only over summer vacation. Over 30,000 people visited the store when it was open during the summer of 2014. The store’s opening period also coincides with the kids’ school summer vacation. Seeing as Odaiba is becoming a typical going out spot in the city, we’re sure to see a big turnout this time too.
Inside the store, there are a selection of goods based on works from Weekly Shonen Jump including One Piece which has sold over 300 million copies of the collected tankobon volumes. Naruto, Gintama, Dragon Ball, Assassination Classroom, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure - about 2,000 items from many diverse franchises will be on show.
If you’re a fan of Weekly Shonen Jump, this is a store you’ll want to visit at least once while it’s open. As the Odaiba Aqua City area is a popular tourist spot too it’s ideal for making some summer vacation memories. Admission is free. Look out for details regarding goods on sale and more!
