Chaos Dragon: Sekiryu Seneki to begin broadcasting July 2; theme song is “ISOtone” by Natsumi Kon
The broadcast start date has been confirmed for the anime series Chaos Dragon: Sekiryu Seneki previously reported to be broadcasting from July. It will begin on July 2 on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and Sun TV. In addition to this, streaming has begun for the latest promotional video on the official site. In it the opening theme “ISOtone” sung by Natsumi Kon can be heard.
The opening theme “ISOtone” is a rock number that expresses the world of Chaos Dragon: Sekiryu Seneki. Natsumi Kon who sings the song has had success in handling theme songs that includes Majestic Prince and One Week Friends. It seems this song, which will be released as her fourth single on Aug. 5, will win popularity too.
The single will come in three forms: a first edition anime disc, a first edition artist disc, and a regular edition. The anime disc includes a DVD featuring a non-credit version of the opening, as well as a storyboard book for the opening, and a specially illustrated three-sided sleeve case. The artist disc will include a DVD featuring the music video of “ISOtone” and a photo booklet. The anime disc will cost 1,700 yen, the artist disc 1,500 yen, and the regular edition 1,200 yen (plus tax for all).
Chaos Dragon: Sekiryu Seneki is a TV anime series based on the TRPG replay Red Dragon which many creators have participated in. Many hitmakers have joined Red Dragon including Gen Urobuchi, Kinoko Nasu, Izuki Kogyoku, Doriru Shima, and Ryogo Narita, and, being a multimedia project, a variety of developments are planned by Toho, Seikaisha, and Sega Networks.
Directing the TV anime is Masato Matsune and the series composer is Ukyo Kodachi. The animation is being produced by Silver Link/Connect.
