‘Do Science with Dragon Ball!’ Exhibit: Ride the Flying Nimbus and Perform a Kamehameha at Odaiba Beginning April 29

The “Do Science with Dragon Ball!” exhibit, an event that brings together science and Dragon Ball, will be held at the Fuji TV 22nd floor forum in Odaiba, Tokyo from April 29 to May 10. It will be a main event at “Spring Fes 2015 - Life !s Live” being held by Fuji TV. This event that was held at the Nagoya City Science Museum from July to August 2014 is returning this year. It was created with the aim of making science fun through incorporating popular anime. It’s a combination of entertainment and learning.

The purpose of the “Do Science with Dragon Ball!” exhibit is to rouse attendees’ interest in science through Dragon Ball. The science behind the series staple, Kamehameha, Hoi Poi Capsules, and more will be explored.

In the “Flying Nimbus Simulator,” attendees are able to ride the Flying Nimbus, which only the purest of heart can ride, through their brain waves being measured to make it move. There are also booths where attendees can enjoy hearing Goku’s voice telepathically from King Kai’s planet, as well as a photo spot with illusionary art that makes it seem like you’re climbing Korin Tower that Goku and the others struggled to ascend.

A variety of festivities will take place including the Dragon Ball exhibit, Spring Fes 2015, and events for tons of other Fuji TV shows. The “Do Science with Dragon Ball!” exhibit has also been confirmed for Osaka, and it will be held this summer at Grand Front Osaka. Because it will be held right in the middle of Golden Week in Tokyo, there will likely be many who stop by.

Dragon Ball is a manga by Akira Toriyama serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump that is highly popular not just in Japan, but worldwide. The series continues to this day, 30 years after it began, and the newest movie, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, will have a Japan-wide roadshow release on Saturday, April 18.
