A new project has kicked off on a special site for the popular vocal unit ClariS. Titled “Best of ClariST,” the project is an official ClariS certification that questions fans about their love and knowledge of ClariS. The project began on April 8 and is open to all.
This year marks the fifth year since ClariS made their major debut in 2010. They are a popular group that has been responsible for theme songs to one popular series after the next, including Oreimo, Madoka Magica, and Nisekoi. Their first best-of album, ClariS: Single Best 1st, will be released on April 15.
The ClariS certification is a project taking place in time with this release. Through the Internet, fans can test their knowledge of ClariS. ClariS is a mysterious vocal unit that has never publicly shown their faces. For that reason alone, it’s likely the questions will also be elaborate.
The “Best of ClariST” contains 14 questions in total from the songs included on their best-of album. Certification will be quite difficult to obtain, even for fans of ClariS. Answers will be revealed in a Nico Nico Live program to be streamed on the release date of the best-of album, Wednesday, April 15, at 21:00 (JST). Guests on the show, titled “LisAni! Presents ClariS Best Album Release Celebration Special - Determined Tonight! Best of ClariST,” will include kz (livetune), who has composed music for ClariS, and DJ Kazu. The MC for the show will be Akihiro Tomita.
The fan will the highest grade on the ClariS certification will also be crowned “Best of ClariST” during the program. Being that it’s a live show, the program will also include a “ClariS Ultra Certification!” A special present will be given to the fan who scores the highest, so this is a program fans definitely won’t want to miss.
