The “Eshi 100 Exhibition 05” to be held from April 29 to May 6, 2015 at Akiba_Square in Akihabara, Tokyo will exhibit original art produced by 100 popular illustrators made especially for the occasion.
This exhibition will be introducing the art of 100 illustrators currently working at the forefront of pop culture. This installment will be the fifth of the series and its theme is “The World of Illustrators.” To these illustrators who are not only recognized in Japan but across the world, the lens will be turned introspectively on their inner world at this exhibition. Audiences will have a chance to explore different aspects of the illustrators’ “world” - the “world” that encaptured these artists and motivated them, the “world” that is created by such a passion, and the personal “world” of their interests and pursuits.
Artists participating include famous illustrators Ume Aoki, Noizi Ito, Itaru Hinoue, and many more. Pre-sale tickets will be up for sale beginning March 20, 2015 (Fri.). Don’t miss out on this amazing event!
