Neon Genesis Evangelion by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is a manga that was serialized for 18 years. Now, it has been confirmed that, in celebration of the momentous occasion of the release of the manga’s final volume, Tokyo-based sneaker brand UBIQ will release a pair of collaboration sneakers.
These memorial sneakers were created using Evangelion Store’s original collage of famous scenes from Sadamoto’s Eva. The black-based sneakers have vivid red laces and are covered in images. Black shoelaces are also included, so you can change them depending on how you feel on any given day. Orders are now being taken for the sneakers, which have a price of 9,800 yen (tax not included).
