Hidden on the front cover to Chapter 766 of One Piece published in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on sale Nov. 1 is a message from Eiichiro Oda, the author of One Piece, for author Masashi Kishimoto and the end of serialization for his series Naruto!
Here is the talked-about illustration.
On the left-hand side, the Japanese words “nasu,” “rukkora no sarada,” “tofu,” “otsumami,” “kare,” “sanshu,” “de,” “shoyu yakisoba,” and “tamago!!” can be seen. By putting together the first character of each of these words, you get the phrase “Naruto, otsukaresan deshita!!” (Naruto, thanks for everything!!).
The title logo and Nami’s outfit have also been done in Naruto style. As a bonus, Luffy is chowing down on Naruto’s favorite food: ramen. And if you look closely at who’s hiding behind Nami, you’ll see that surprisingly it’s…!
