Shopping Guide
On Oct. 26, the Roppongi Shopping District Promotion Association will hold the event Roppongi Halloween in part to develop even more activity in Roppongi and in part to “create a city of art designs.” The event’s theme, Halloween, is one that has been becoming more popular in Japan year after year. Characters from the popular anime in Japan Youkai Watch will also be at the event as special guests.
There will be DJs, pro dancers, regular dancers, characters from the hugely popular Youkai Watch including Jibanyan, and other people in costume showing off their dance skills, and there will be a dance parade down the center of Roppongi led by the popular Subaru cars, Forester and XV. Adults, kids, dancers, those who like cars, and onlookers alike will all be able to enjoy the event, and it will bring overflowing liveliness and fun to all of Roppongi.
A highlight will be the various characters from Youkai Watch in attendance including Jibanyan, Keita-kun, and Dianyan. Those who are in Japan, why not participate in this imaginative parade?
