The jacket photo has been released for Momoiro Clover Z’s new single releasing on July 30, Moon Pride.
Two versions of Moon Pride will be released: a “Sailor Moon disc” and a “MomoClo disc.” Each version includes the opening and ending theme songs, with the “Sailor Moon disc” also containing a Blu-ray of an original animation music video for the new Toei Animation work Sailor Moon Crystal and the “MomoClo disc” including a cover of the song “Moon Revenge.”
The “Sailor Moon disc” jacket was drawn just for the occasion and features five Sailor Scouts. On the other hand, the “MomoClo disc” jacket features a photo of the members of the group dressed in Sailor Moon-themed outfits. The photo has been finished to look like the world of anime Sailor Moon Crystal. The single is also picking up massive attention due to Revo (Linked Horizon/Sound Horizon), who debuted 10 years ago and was also in charge of the opening theme to Attack on Titan, “Crimson Bow and Arrow,” helping create the opening theme “Moon Pride” and composer Akiko Kosaka, who has created many popular Sailor Moon songs including “Tuxedo Mirage,” “Moon Revenge,” and “La Soldier,” helping create the ending theme “Moonbow.”
Along with the theme song to the anime Sailor Moon Crystal, “Moon Pride,” releasing domestically in CD shops (and online) on July 30, it will also be available the same day in 120 countries through iTunes.
