On May 7, popular Japanese artist LiSA will release her fifth single which features four songs including “Rising Hope,” the opening theme to the TV anime The Irregular at Magic High School which began broadcasting earlier this month.
Three versions of the single will be released: a limited first edition, limited edition, and regular edition. The limited first edition includes a DVD with a music clip of “Rising Hope,” and the limited edition includes a DVD with the non-credit opening of The Irregular at Magic High School. Each one is also planned to include other bonus content.
LiSA had her major break in 2010 in the TV anime Angel Beats! as the voice of second generation vocalist Yui in the fictional band Girls Dead Monster. She made her solo debut the following year and has since created many hit songs including “Crossing Field,” the opening theme of the Aincrad arc of the popular anime Sword Art Online.
Her second full album released in October 2013 and reached No. 2 on the Oricon weekly chart. Because her fanbase has been increasing all the while, this new single is picking up a lot of attention. Furthermore, she will be holding a countrywide tour beginning in June, so those who are captivated by her voice should definitely try, if at all possible, to see one of her shows and experience it live.
Overseas fans will also be happy to know that the single will release on May 7 worldwide on the iTunes Store! It will also release in some countries on Amazon MP3. Look forward to this as well.
