Animax Carnival Malaysia 2014 will be held from March 29-30. Sign ups to participate in the Animax Cosplay Competition to be held on the 30th are currently taking place. There will be wonderful prizes for the winners, so cosplayers in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore should definitely check it out. The sign up deadline is Feb. 28, so those who haven’t signed up yet should hurry!
Animax Cosplay Competition Details
Date: March 30, 2014
Venue: Animax Carnival Malaysia 2014 @ Mid Valley Exhibition Centre Hall 2, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Registration period: Jan. 13, 2014 – Feb. 28, 2014
The competition is open to residents of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore and is only open to solo participants. To sign up, fill out the registration form available here and submit the form along with one full-length and one close-up color photo of yourself in costume to cosplay@animax-asia.com. Ten participants will be shortlisted from the entries to take part in the semi-finals. Six semi-finalists will then be chosen for the finals.
Prizes:
1st prize: USD500 & Animax goody bag including a Sony Xperia Z (total worth more than USD1000)
2nd prize: USD300 & Animax goody bag including a Sony PS Vita (total worth more than USD700)
3rd prize: USD100 & Animax goody bag (total worth more than USD500)
