Kantai Collection ita-neckties will soon go on sale from Cospa. Whether an admiral working while playing Kan Colle, an admiral playing Kan Colle while working, or an admiral who can’t play Kan Colle at all while working, you can always feel like the kanmusu (warship girls) are close with these ties.
The ties each cost ￥4,725 and come in five styles: Inazuma, Shimakaze, Atago, Kongō, and Yamato. The front of the ties feature a striped design using the color of that tie’s respective kanmusu. At a glance, they look like normal ties. On the underside, however, is an illustration of a kanmusu, meaning that at any time, you can flip the tie over and get some encouragement from your favorite kanmusu.
The type of the tie’s kanmusu––destroyer, heavy cruiser, or battleship––is written on the loop portion of the tie in large letters along with an anchor symbol.
Pre-orders for these ties are being accepted until Jan. 13, 2014, and they will be shipped out in the last third of March 2014. They will also be available to purchase in advance at the Gee Store booth (No. 413) at Comic Market 85 to be held next month from Dec. 29-31.
