“I came to kill you, Sengoku.” - Koyomi directed these words to Nadeko Sengoku while bleeding from his entire bloody. However, standing in her place wasn’t the usually quiet and shy Nadeko, but a snake-shaped oddity.
The story goes back to the day she met Kuchinawa. Nadeko was walking to school when a mysterious little girl appeared in front of her who, for some reason, knew Nadeko’s name. She introduced herself, claiming to be Ougi Oshino, Meme Oshino’s niece. She seemed to know everything. Then, having left some meaningful words behind, she vanished.
After arriving to school, she finds the class seemingly in peace, but melancholic on the inside.
This was because Deishuu Kaiki’s good luck charm he made due to the snake oddity’s attack on Nadeko was causing distortions in their human relationships.
On the surface, Nadeko is spending her days in tranquility, but after seeing a hallucination of a white snake, she seeks Koyomi for advice. Being secretly in love with him, she was happy to talk to him, but as soon as she hangs up the phone, the white snake appears again and talks to her.
The snake sends her to Kita-Shirahebi Shrine, where she finds the remains of the snake she killed to break the curse. Then, the giant white snake who showed her the illusion, Kuchinawa, asks Nadeko to do something...
