Subdue enemies with beautiful voices! A new entertainment program with such a concept will appear on screen starting this fall. Voice Actor Force Voicetorm 7 will start broadcasting on Nippon Television beginning this October. Voice Actor Force Voicetorm 7 is based on a manga with the same name that is serialized in Kodansha’s monthly magazine, Aria. The original plan was created by Masaki, and the manga is drawn by Sae Matsunaga. Among the collaborators of this program that carries “voice actor” in its title, the major voice talent management, 81 Produce, is listed.
The contents of this program, which not only voice actor fans will like, are as follows. Soprano is a Showa-style cafe located on one of the corners of Akihabara. The seven people who gather there are none other than the warriors of Voicetorm 7, who use their beautiful voices as weapons in a the fight against evil! These heroes of justice are cool and hot, yet also laughable. To protect the peace (and moe) of Japan, they fight every day.
The form of the program is interesting too, as it won’t be produced as an anime, but instead, as a motion comic that leverages manga taste by adding movement to the original manga and making it a full-color video. Another thing not to miss is the “ultra-luxurious voice cast” with all main character-level voice stars. The cast is as follows: Tetsuya Kakihara as Voice One (Ichimonji Ryō), Kōki Miyata as Voice Two (Nikai Doujin), Shinichiro Miki as Voice Three (Mikurube Yō), Takahiro Sakurai as Voice Four (Yomota Gō), Emiri Kato as Voice Five (Gotanno Yū), Wataru Hatano as Voice Six (Roppongi Ken), Chinatsu Akasaki as Voice Seven (Nanaka Hana), Toshihiko Seki as Chief Saotome, Shigeru Chiba as Mōsōjū and narration, and Takuya Eguchi as Kuroi.
Voice Actor Force Voicetorm 7 will be broadcasted in 12 episodes, each 5-minutes long, in one season from October to December. In addition, it will also be distributed on NTV OnDemand. A special edition of the show equipped with a drama CD will be sold in March, so look forward to this and for the show to air.
