Mao informs Chihiro that he has to return to Ente Isla, and Chihiro, crying, tries to appeal to him by saying, “Please, take me with you!” However, Mao sadly shakes his head... Chihiro has such a dream and she feels uneasy wondering if Mao will have to really return from where he came. Emi too has a dream, hers of Mao proclaiming his rule over Hatagaya, to which she again braces herself. Taking his chance, Mao asks Kisaki for a week-long vacation. Upon hearing this, Chihiro questions him about returning home with things being unresolved, which he denies...

Both Emi and Chi-chan have ominous dreams involving Mao. Emi has a dream in which Mao begins his conquest of the world, and Chi-chan has a dream in which Mao returns to Ente Isla.
While the two feel uneasy about their dreams, Mao’s right-hand man Alciel appears with a troubled expression. Mao then informs them that he would like to have some time off. From here, their behavior becomes suspicious. Mao even takes a long vacation from his most precious part-time job.
Meanwhile, Emi, who thinks that they are hiding something, witnesses a large amount of boxes being brought to Mao’s house. She is convinced that this has something to do with his odd behavior. She and Chi-chan then begin to follow him around.
Are Mao and the rest who drained their powers in the previous battle more human-like than normal humans? As the story continues, Mao’s image has changed more and more. How will Emi’s relationship with Mao, who is her father’s enemy, finally end? Don’t miss a moment of their strange relationship!
