A private screening event for Berserk Golden Age Arc III: Descent was held at the Wald 9 theater in Shinjuku, Tokyo on Jan. 16.
At the event, four people appeared on stage wearing full armor that weighed between 30-40 kg. These four were Hiroaki Iwanaga, who voiced the character Guts, Kaname Kawabata, who sung the ending theme for the movie, Kendo Kobayashi, who voiced Bazuso in part one of the movie trilogy, and Chocolate Planet’s Shohei Osada, who voiced the grotesque monster D that appears during the eclipse. Each member had a different take on their characters from the series and evoked strong feelings and excitement from the crowd.
Berserk Golden Age Arc III: Descent was released in Japan on Feb. 1 and has been doing very well. There is no word yet when it will be released internationally, but we will keep you posted of the latest developments.
