Evangelion is known for constantly collaborating with other works and businesses. In 2010, the series even got into the racing business with the establishment of Evangelion Racing. At the time, this collaboration picked up a great deal of attention and was a part of world-famous races such as the Super GT300 Class and the Suzuka 8 Hour Endurance Road Race.
Five race queens are part of Evangelion Racing. Each queen represents a character from Evangelion, and each draws the eyes of many fans of Evangelion and motorsports alike. Now, a photo book of these gorgeous race queens, called “*Evangelion* Racing RQ: Battle and Daily Life” is being released. The book features a summary of the activities of the race queens up until now, both at work and in their everyday lives. The book also features not just the current race queens, but past race queens as well, and will also come with a special making-of DVD.
“*Evangelion* Racing RQ: Battle and Daily Life” is being produced in very limited quantities, meaning that production is limited to the number of pre-orders for the book. The cost of the book is 5,040 yen. Unfortunately, the pre-order period for the book ended on Feb. 1. However, it is a possibility that the book will be re-released at a later date if the demand is high enough.
