Wait, what’s a manga anthology?
It’s a book containing a collection of short manga which tell stories that differ from or branch off of the plot in the original series. Individually they’re too short to be published in a book of their own, which is why they’re published together in one manga anthology.
Manga anthologies are extremely popular in Japan - both the creators and the readers get to let their imaginations loose and enjoy tales not told in the original series. And we wanted to share these creative derived works with you guys, too!
