“Valvrave the Liberator” Mecha to Become Plastic Model!

Sunrise, the company behind the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam, is creating a new, original robot anime called Valvrave the Liberator. Now, new information about this hotly anticipated work has been announced. Even though the anime has yet to begin broadcasting, it’s already been decided to bring the anime to the plastic model world. Bandai, who has an established reputation in creating sci-fi mecha, is creating a plastic model of the main character’s mecha, Valvrave.

In keeping in line with the convention of mecha action, the Valvrave plastic model will be fully movable. Coming with an abundance of weapons seen in the anime, as well as the use of lighting effects using clear parts, Valvrave’s characteristics have been perfectly reproduced for the new figure. The cost and release date of the figure are yet to be announced.

Makoto Ishiwatari (Nitroplus), Naohiro Washio, and Kunio Okawara are in charge of the mechanical designs for Valvrave the Liberator. With such talent, there is high anticipation for the anime’s mecha, and many more are yet to be revealed. We’re curious to see if any of the other mecha will also be made into plastic models.
